Jade Jacobelli (a.k.a. JADDICT ) is a visual artist and textile designer based in Martinique.
Her practice is built around two languages: analog and digital collage as a tool for visual composition, and textile as a living material.  Patchwork, upcycling, and the customization of objects and clothing: she starts from recycled materials, from what has been cast aside, and transforms them into pop, colorful, and dense works.

Today, her paintings spill beyond the frame and take over space through
textile installation. At its core, all her work asks the same question: what do we hide, and what do we assemble in order to exist?

Today her work lives in that space between digital and analog, between
contemporary art and textile, between Martinique and the rest of the world.
