Using the same model from Paradise of Scorched Earth, she now assumes a more assured position; dressed in a sleek golden gown, relaxed and with a sleepy gaze that challenges the viewer. It is almost the antithesis of Paradise of Scorched Earth, in that the subject now holds a position of power and is steadfast in defining her own identity even in the face of challenges that exist.
