These paintings represent the vivid tropical rainforest that has influenced my work for over two decades. In this painting, “Bird of Paradise” the colorful flora, juxtaposed against the verdant greens creates a composition that draws the viewer into this tropical realm while still keeping a touch of abstraction and mystery. The Caribbean is full of the most interesting color arrangements in nature and these paintings are my attempt at capturing some of the magic.
